Message from the Chair


Dear friends and colleagues of the Golden Gate Section,


We are organizing another outstanding lineup of speakers for the upcoming year. Most of these seminars will be in-person, a welcome change from the mostly remote events of recent years. We will be welcoming three SPE Distinguished Lecturers - Drew Pomeranz on Methane Emissions, Tuba Firincioglu on Cyclic Gas Injection in Unconventionals, and Jordan Ciezobka on the Hydraulic Fracturing Test Site project. In addition, we will host presentations from Pallav Sarma and Herve Gross, and more.

Thank you to everyone who joined the fall social in September. We are planning a geology field trip to Devil's Slide in early March, and a refinery tour in May/June. Please keep an eye out for more details!
