The board of directors agreed that our section will host the 2019 SPE Western Regional Meeting. The meeting will be held at the DoubleTree hotel in San Jose from April 23-26, 2019. An organization committee has been formed to handle the various tasks of the meeting. Please note the deadline for submitting abstracts is October 25. We hope you all include the meeting in your plans and attend call for papers will be included in the next issues of newsletters for all sections of the Western Region and SPE will broadcast the to members worldwide.
