Abstract
The balance between the global supply and demand for crude oil is becoming progressively tighter, increasingly requiring our industry to face new and unique challenges. Our industry of tomorrow will have to address the demands of operating in adverse environment, development of new technologies and expediting implementation in the field, as well as optimization of processes and enhancing collaborative efforts to reduce cost, This presentation provides an overview of initiatives that must be directed at addressing the key issues, as well as SPE’s engagement in facilitating the industry dialogue on global exchange of knowledge.
